Anna! Math question? Good grief, If I had to respond to amath question when I wanted to post I would kick the bucket! I will look into that! I appreciate you posting again. I love your opinions. You know what you do not like and I appreciate that. I know what you mean about topiary. I think seen in person I had a completely different take. Because the borders had black foliage and flowers it had a different vibe...as though the designer was playing with the viewer and established perceptions. So, in that context it was edgy, not saccharine sweet . That is what I like about gardens that push the envelope as it leads to a discussion. So, thank you for your opinion. I love it!! :) Thanks Anna for perservering and posting. You are the best!

Philip--you are killing me with that math question:(. I keep posting long post to you and then forget to do the math--and zingo--the whole post is gone...errr.

I posted to this one and will do it again cause I love the story of this couple and their love for the town and their fellow man. Such wonderful things they did in their lives. I really enjoyed the story.

As for the gardens below---I didn't like the turtles. I loved the gardens but the turtles threw me off. Maybe it's cause we have so many theme parks with those things all over that it cheapens it for me. I know they cost a bundle to maintain though so what do I know.

I do enjoy your post. You know so much and I'm getting a wonderful education reading about these great places I'll never get to visit.
